Blocks disappearing from inventory.

Question

Title: Blocks disappearing from inventory.

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows 7 (My Machine, have no idea what the server is running)

Java Version: 32bit latest version (again, no idea how to find that out)

Description of Problem:

a few of my users were mentioning they had noticed items disappearing from their inventories on our server but I thought they were just misplacing them (or doing what one user keeps doing by putting a bag inside itself). but earlier on I noticed I was losing Glowstone blocks from my inventory. at first I thought I was just placing them and not realising, but I was idly watching my quarry doing it's work and I noticed more glowstone blocks disappearing. Is this a server end bug? or is there a limit to the amount of a certain block that can be in the game?

What plugins does the server have? Do the people with certain items disappearing have Equivalent Exchange power items in their inventory and active? Those consume fuel, which can include glowstone blocks, to run.

hmm, thanks for the response Torezu, the server is using the tekkit download, i've added catacombs plugin, worldedit/guard and lagmeter. I can't speak for the others except for one user who said that his klein disappeared (I think i spelt that right). Myself however, I was using the ring that lets you fly (I can't remember the name), I now have nothing in my inv that could be considered fuel but I can still use the ring though.

I just reread your reply to Torezu. Swiftwolf's Rending Gale does consume certain blocks, of which I believe Glowstone Blocks are included, in order to be able to make you fly. The bug where you can fly without having any fuel blocks in your inventory was fixed on the newest EE update, which is included in Tekkit 3.1.1, but it will still try to consume fuel items in your inventory.
