  1. We're running 0.941 (not the latest version). Maybe something broke on later versions? Note that 0.944 (the latest version) is for 1.3.1.
  2. I would like to suggest HyperConomy instead. BukkitDev Link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/hyperconomy/ Description: creates a virtual marketplace where players can sell items to and buy items from. Prices adjust dynamically according to supply and demand. Supports a bunch of things like chestshops, taxes, and it's even got a built-in website (Feel free to check our server's market page @ http://play.promethea-tekkit.com:8765/) Tekkit Compatibility: it supports Tekkit items flawlessly. We have mining lasers, swiftwolf's rings, and a bunch of other Tekkit items for sale at high prices on our server. And of course we have basic ones like copper, tin, silver, nikolite, marble, basalt, blue alloy ingots, red alloy ingots, etc. --- I vouch for GriefPrevention myself. Both users and admins love it in Promethea. It's easy to use and to configure, and I hear mod items are supported as well, although we choose to protect those with LWC instead.

I haven't been able to make the NEI plugin for forestry work, though :/.
  4. I would assume the only way for Forestry to go back to Tekkit would be for SirSengir to change his mind. But considering the terms of the Forestry license, I doubt that's going to happen. Public Mod Packs: All mod packs I want to include Forestry already have my permission. Please refrain from asking permission via PM here on MFC. If you are maintaining an already released and established mod pack and want to include Forestry, you are still free to pitch it to me on IRC. Do not include Forestry without asking for permission first or I will not grant permission even if you ask after the fact.
  5. Title: [3.1.1] Owned Wireless Frequencies get reset Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Mac Os X 10.7.4 Java Version: java version 1.7.0_05 Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_05-b05) Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.1-b03, mixed mode) Description of Problem: Wireless frequencies that have been marked as 'owned' by players reset (Once confirmed on server restart). Error Messages: Error Log:
  6. Title: [3.1.1] Retrievulator orientation displays wrongly Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Mac OS X 10.7.4 Java Version: java version 1.7.0_05 Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_05-b05) Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.1-b03, mixed mode) Description of Problem: After placing a retrievulator, it shows you the correct orientation. But after a bit (or perhaps after the chunk unloads & loads) it will point upward. It will still work with the orientation you gave it, but it doesn't look correctly placed. Error Messages: Error Log:
  7. That would be my guess too. We also experienced a rare crash. One player upgraded a normal chest to an iron chest and the player/s next to him got disconnected. There was no error log about it either. It only happened a few times, and then it stopped.
  8. I can confirm that the above mentioned fix works on a Tekkit server running 3.1.1.
  9. Is a multiworld plugin installed on your server? I'm not completely sure, but I think that's what causes IC machines to act up.
  10. I just reread your reply to Torezu. Swiftwolf's Rending Gale does consume certain blocks, of which I believe Glowstone Blocks are included, in order to be able to make you fly. The bug where you can fly without having any fuel blocks in your inventory was fixed on the newest EE update, which is included in Tekkit 3.1.1, but it will still try to consume fuel items in your inventory.
  11. On the Technic Launcher choose Options, select "Manual Build Selection", then choose "3.1.1 | 1.2.5 | Latest" from the drop-down menu. Once that's done login and try to join a 3.1.1 server. If you have already done all of the steps above, I would recommend to delete your tekkit folder entirely (make sure you backup your worlds) and restart the Technic Launcher.
  12. We were experiencing a similar bug on our server where we had allowed players to use magnet mode. Is it enabled on your server?
  13. Title: [3.1.1] Can't see Iron Chest mod recipes on NEI Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Mac Os X 10.7.4 Java Version: java version "1.7.0_05" Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_05-b05) Java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.1-b03, mixed mode) Description of Problem: I run a Tekkit 3.1.1 server. One of our players found out that we can't see how to make the items from the Iron Chests mod using NEI. Error Messages: None Error Log: None
  14. I do the same (spawn items) with the kid I play with.... but if you don't tell her, I won't tell your wife .
  15. The simplest thing to do is to delete the 'world' folder in your Tekkit server directory and start your server (it will create a new world with a random seed).
  16. LWC allows you to protect custom blocks (by adding their id in the configuration file).
  17. I like GriefPrevention myself. It doesn't offer perhaps many of the more advanced features of other mods like WorldGuard, but it's easy to setup. Link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/grief-prevention/
  18. Re: Bukkit port of NuclearControl buggy @Admins/Mods/Server owners: Find r3 here: https://github.com/downloads/mushroomhostage/ic2-nuclear-control/mod_IC2NuclearControl-1.1.6-mcpc1.2.5-r3.zip
  19. http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=2355.msg15207#msg15207 I'm not sure whether I should report this here or not, but the bukkit port of NuclearControl (1.6) that Tekkit is using is bugged in that the electric thermometer acts like the normal one and the normal one doesn't work at all.
