Solar Powered Quarry

Simple (probably foolish) question, is there any way I can power a quarry with solar panels? And if so, how? I just build 27 of the bloody things and would rather not have them gathering dust.

If you're inclined to install Forestry, you could use electric motors. Otherwise, it's Power Converters all the way.

Thanks, how would I properly install the converters to stuff the solar power into the quarry?

There are BC solar panels in Advanced Power Systems. You'll need a lot of panels for decent power generation. But it looks awesome.

My method is quarry - energy link - batbox - 3 LV arrays

works like a charm. pop a pipe on and a tp pipe and you've got a good portable mining setup.

I can't build energy links in my version of technic, which one do I need for that?

Energy Link is in the industrialcraft mod pack. I haven't honestly looked in technic since I stopped playing my tekkit momentarily. I found though it was easier to send BC energy to the quarry via teleport power pipes instead anyway.

Nope, it isn't in the IC2 modpack. It is in Power Converters.
