waltdrummer Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 Title: LAUNCH.BAT DOESNT WORK AFTER A LOT OF GOOGLEING Version: 3.1.1 OS: 64-bit Java Version: 7 update 5 Description of Problem: When i go to the tekkit files and launch the launch.bat it gives a error with this in it:-java -Xmx1G -Xms512M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui I know i have changed the values to some lower but it still does not work. 0 RyZup Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 The reason it doesn't work is because you probably didn't read the guide on the forums on how to setup a server so it will run through launcher.bat . http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/how-to-set-up-a-tekkit-server-step-by-step-guide-win-7-images.2299/ EDIT: It may be confusing at the step 5 where you have to insert your location of java, DON'T Copy the [tt][/tt] part that is in inside the " here " , you have to just copy from this point ";C:/..."
