Version: 3.1.1

OS: 64-bit

Java Version: 7 update 5

Description of Problem:

When i go to the tekkit files and launch the launch.bat it gives a error with this in it:-java -Xmx1G -Xms512M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

I know i have changed the values to some lower but it still does not work.

I have 64-bit but it still doesnt work.

Please help me

The reason it doesn't work is because you probably didn't read the guide on the forums on how to setup a server so it will run through launcher.bat .

EDIT: It may be confusing at the step 5 where you have to insert your location of java, DON'T Copy the [tt][/tt] part that is in inside the " here " , you have to just copy from this point ";C:/..." (don't copy quotation marks)

That is not the error message, that is the command to get the server running. Please post everything the console displays when you start the server.

Well im dutch so i will translate it but it may not be the same on a english pc :

You seem to have Java incorrectly installed or your PATH variable is invalid. Google how to setup your PATH variable to Java.
