TheJoshXGames
So today I tried making a server for my friends and I to play on. This was going to be a small server so I didn't really care how they logged on, just wanted us all be able to play. I have hosted many regular mine craft servers on my computer and I did not think it was going to be a problem. When I got everything loaded I still could not connect, even with local host. I tried everything including Hamaichi and port forwarding, nothing worked. I told my friends we should just play on a little server with no people if I can't get my server up and more problems. I can't connect to any multiplayer servers. Now it just says 'Communication Error' on all servers, even on very large ones that I know are up. Gomo
There's a lot of things that could've gone wrong.. Test your connection with some games other then MC/Tekkit.. And if you use portfowarding, make sure you have a static IP or use https://www.noip.com if dynamic. And for Hamachi, you wont need portfowarding.
