123nick Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) is it possible to use java 7 with the increased ram options? i heard java 8 has a couple of rendering glitches, and on the modpack im using, with 404 mods , many a time a chunk will just never load. i have all the optifine settings set to load chunks as fast as possible, or as efficiently as possible. and yet still, there will be times were a big portion of land isnt being loaded. i tried -Xmx6G, but that didnt work. nor did -sms6G. any help? And the Sun will have burned out. You're lucky that occasional chunk loading problems is your biggest issue. Try fastcraft, if it's not in not in there somewhere. Or updated graphics drivers.
