is it possible to use java 7 with the increased ram options? i heard java 8 has a couple of rendering glitches, and on the modpack im using, with 404 mods , many a time a chunk will just never load. i have all the optifine settings set to load chunks as fast as possible, or as efficiently as possible. and yet still, there will be times were a big portion of land isnt being loaded. i tried -Xmx6G, but that didnt work. nor did -sms6G. any help?

when i try to join, it says the server is out of date and is 1.4.7 where the modpack is 1.5.2

i also applied and got no response. you sure the application site is working? its been like a few days since i got any PM.

the instructions on the modpack URL say i should have a minimum of 2GB , but i only have a maximum of 1. how do i fix this?
