Jetpack Bugs/Hovermode Not working

It seems as though the Jetpack is not working correctly. We have tried to put it into hovermode but no key will do so. As it stands even if we come down slow without hovermode it will either kill us or take more than 1/2 our life. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I will post on both because even though it's a good idea for the devs to have it in all one location, if my bug can be fixed by someone that is just reading the forum......well you get the idea. It's what having a Tekkit BUG BOARD is all about. I do however thank you for taking the time to look at my problem.

Yeah it is a new topic started to collect the 2.0 bugs so they don't have to read all the topics here I guess. I don't think posting there is enforced like some other stickies, just recommended.

Oh and you might want to remove those signatures, they are against the rules.

You need to go over the rules. If you would've just used the search function. You would've found this. It's not a fix, but at least you'd know it's already been posted.

Or at least read the "Before you report a bug (READ!)" thread.

kyneff, my problem is different than the one stated on that page (your thread), quote:"On my server none of the jetpacks are working except the yellow one simply labeled jetpack" All of my Jetpacks work. Not a big difference since you go on to say, quote: "When I use the jetpack and I land it's either half my health gone or instant death" but different none the less. Since we have different issues I made a new thread for it in the hope that someone would have a fix. Even if that fix might be something I didn't like.

For my signature, I always wright my name at the end. I guess you can say it's habit. Forgive me for that, it won't happen again.

I hope this answers all the questions that needed to be answered and we can get back to the problem at hand.

I would also like to add that there is no key setup for hovermode. There used to be but as of 2.0 there is not.

Thank you for pointing that out. I will use it in the future. Normally I don't post on forums due to the community. So you could say I am a bit green in that area.
