Check if a chest is full

Is there any way with Tekkit to check if a chest is full? I haven't yet used all of the different machines/mechanisms available to their full extent, so I might have missed how to do that.

...Or maybe it's just not possible? T_T

There might very well be an easy way, but regardless, it is possible one way or another - possible through use of pneumatic tubes (i think there's one that sends out redstone when something passes - but tubes don't send if they can't send so there you have it).
