Hey

I have a aim2game sever where they install tekkit 4 me and they teste it and they say that it´s working but when i try to connect to it i get this error: Must have Forge build #136+ (4096 fix) to connect to this sever. reinstall every thing still getting the error PLEASE Help I'am knew to this

If you go to the Tekkit SMP Bug forum, there is a sticky at the top with the info you're looking for.

you need to use the development client built. open the launcher and go to options, select "always use development builds".

Now that youv'e read that... Instead you want to Manually Select the 3.1.1 build. The reason for this dramatic post is because dev builds change. If you have 'Latest Dev Build' selected, you're going to have problems down the road when this build goes recommended (which is what you should play, except rare occasions like this one when a build is on the verge of going rec). What is going to happen after the 3.1.1 build goes recommended is a new development build of tekkit will eventually sprout up. Let's look at the chain of events when you have "Latest Dev Build" selected:

Technic Launcher updates without prompting

You can't log into any server

You post on the Tekkit forum asking why.

You are mocked and ridiculed.

You feel shameful for having Latest Dev Build selected

You quit playing Minecraft

You look at yourself in the mirror and paint your face with pudding.

You masturbate to reruns of the Red Green Show

You continue on your downward spiral of shame.

You find yourself in a bath house giving free handy's to anyone who's willing

You're arrested by the police for solicitation

You're sent to prison as an example to other people who have Latest Dev Build selected.
