0 Jay? Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 okay, to do a manual reinstall, go to user/appdata/roaming/and delete the whole .techniclauncher folder. You may want to delete and redownload the launcher exe as well. Quote

0 Torezu Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 What, out of curiosity, is the path for your copy of Java? It's usually something like C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin - that may be the source of the illegal character. Quote

I was responding to your question by informing you that it's illegal because it contains Minecraft files, which you are not allowed to distribute. And really, reporting me? You want to get rid of that, unless you're programming in Java, and use JRE 7. Get the one to match your OS bit version (32- or 64-bit). Quote

I have tried reinstalling both the Launcher and Java, but I'm still having this issue. My Windows username doesn't have anything but letters in it, so it shouldn't be the cause for this problem.
