Launcher Stops

Antivirus Program: MSE

Description of Problem:

When I launch the Technic Launcher Updater (Shows up as TechnicLauncher.exe in my downloads folder) it pops up with a small window saying "Checking Launcher Version..." and it shows up just long enough that I had to launch it a few times to be sure what it said.

And nothing happens after that window flashes.

Use the .jar version of the launcher instead. 32-bit Windows doesn't like the .exe most of the time.
