Is it possible to disable pipes?

i have been running a private tekkit server for a while and have been wanting for some time to disable the buildcraft pipes so players will rely on redpowers pipeing system instead.

is there any way to disable buildcraft pipes from the server?

You can disable all of Buildcraft by deleting the Buildcraft mod from your /mods/ folder.

If you want to be more selective, you could try using your Permissions plugin to disable the crafting of the pipe recipes. I don't really see the point of this, though - if you're going to disable Buildcraft Pipes, that leaves you with BC quarries, fillers, builders, and refineries (all of which are of limited use without BC pipework.)

well redpower has its own pipes which personally i prefer over buildcrafts piping system. it seems more thought out. im not aware of any permissions plugin that lets you pick specific recipes to block?

PermissionsEX allows you to block specific items or recipes, I believe.
