Making a server

Can someone help? when i try and start launch.bat it just says java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar tekkit.jar

nogui 'java' is not recognized as an external or internal command, operable program or batch file

Please help : / i edited it for -XmX1G and -Xms1G but it still wont work so i dont know what to do

im using server launcher 3.1.2

edit it so it says

-java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar tekkit.jar

nogui

Basically put a hyphen before java. No spaces.
