Launcher problem?

I saw that the current problem is an update failed message, but I don't get that.

Instead, when I try to use it, it just hangs forever at the Technic launcher screen.

Is this the update failed error, just in a different form?

I have got this problem as well. The launcher was working fine a couple of hours ago.

Win 7 64bit with 64bit java.

EDIT: Tried again a couple of minutes later and everything is working again.

Maybe next time you should look around.

We're not getting technic for awhile, so go find some other game to play.

Although it may have been that, I was not getting any messages about a failed update. I did look and I did not seen an problems where the launcher was stalling only on the logo, so I posted in this thread. Secondly, it is working for me now. Maybe next time don't be such an arse to the next person who has a problem, who looked through the forum already and wanted to report it.

i think it is bc i just downloaded tekkit/technic after the 1.2.3 update that it be doing the update failed thing

I'm on a mac, and whenever I click the jar file nothing happens for a while and then a message pops up saying that the jar file cannot be opened, and to check the console for possible error messages. It does this every time, I have redownloaded it a number of times and the same thing happens. Help?
