After login to the launcher only get a white screen and have to force close.

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 8, Eval copy. Build 8400

Java Version: 64 bit, (build 1.7.0_05-b06)

Antivirus Program: Windows defender

Description of Problem:

The launcher runs fine, but once I log in the game window opens and it is just a white screen that I have to force close. I am wondering if this is just a problem with windows 8 new build. I have updated my graphics card, as well as gone threw the common problems page solutions and still no fix.

One of the things that happens occasionally is that the computer, for some odd reason, (could be OpenGL's fault) tries to use your processor's built in graphics core, rather than the card you currently have. Try messing around with the settings in AMD Catalyst Control Center.

So tried to use the control center, no luck, it gave a error and said that their are currently no setting that the control center can be used for. I am going to reinstall 7 and call it a day.

My hard drive crashed and it was free from, a friend. The funny thing is he just installed it on his laptop and he hates it already lol.
