My tekkit world doesn't have any oil?

I have briefly searched my world for oil but there was none in sight I'm on vacation atm so I can't thoroughly check for oil. My world seed is "Giant Crater" if someone was to search it and tell me if they found any oil and where I would be delighted.

Oil spawns aren't based on seed, so searching the world for you would do no good.

Just keep searching, Oil's not too rare, really. Easier than getting diamonds anyway.

I have traveled like 1000 blocks in one direction and didn't find any oil. I was thinking of Using world edit and making my own oil spots but that's no fun.
