The Authentication Servers

Hi there I could use some help... Now you see every time I try to login into one of the modpack servers... It keeps giving me the same message:"Failed to login:The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance." And the problem is that this happens with all the modpacks exepct for two... Official Crafting Dead and Official Counter Craft... I would like to know why... Please answer as quickly as possible as I am not the only person with this problem...Thank You!

it's exactly what it says. Mojang's authentication servers are down and therefore you can't connect to any servers. this happens now and then

With all due respect... Nope... It happenes to me everyday everytime... Always... And if that is the case... Then why do the Crafting Dead and Counter Craft modpacks work?

post the log

logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window.
If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs

Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

not really a helpful error line, as this could mean anything - firewall, antivirus, bad internet connection or Mojang servers are down.

If it has happened for you for days then I would lean on firewall or antivirus blocking the launcher from accessing servers.

Just to be clear; you can play singleplayer just fine?

Yes, I can play singleplayer fine.... And for the firewall and antivirus? I checked that and no problems....

And my internet connection is good, so no problem there...
