the technic launcher dosent download the technic pack

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: jre-7 windows X64

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

when i load the tekkit launcher i select the technic pack and it starts to download but stopps on a random percentage and then says download failed.(also the back ground of the launcher dosent load fully.)

Disable AVG, time to get a better anti-virus.

iv disabled it but it dosent help

Uninstall AVG, get Avast! or MSE.

it isn't AVG,i had the same thing with download failed,it toke me about 4 hours to sort out but it worked

I went tho Vanila,then Tekkit then Technic,Tekkit has most of the stuff for technic so it wasn't as long

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to update to Technic Pack version 7.2.6, if that helps any.

iv got rid of AVG but now it dose the same thing but on Mat-mos v12 .Zip
