Blackbook Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 As per 'tekkit with duncan' videos on youtube, I've set up a chest which I put all my raw ores in to. What I'd like is a wooden pipe to take them out and feed them into my macerator automatically -- But, the problem is when it gets to a new ore, it spits them out. Is there a way of having some intelligence to the wooden pipe so that it only takes an ore once the macerator has finished? cheers
DanielJin Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Well, there's always the choise not to use buildcraft pipes and use redpower tubes instead. Get a filter, a timer, and some tubes. The filter acts like a redstone engine, but it pulls stacks of items every time, the good thing about tubes is they will never overflow, items will just go back to the chest if it can't get into the macerater.
Blackbook Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 I wish to know more and will try this out ty for the heads up :D
Korialstrasz Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I have it like this. R M W R F R= Relay M= Macerator W= Wooden Pie F= Furnace As long as you dont have more then 9 diffrend type/stacks it working OK without spilling stuff everwhere.
Blackbook Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 @DanielJin :: Hmm. in a quick survival mode - can't get it to work. Is there an image or video you can share with me how to get this working? thanks so much for the help ;D @Korialstrasz :: ty for suggestion I'll experiement :D
Korialstrasz Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 mh yeah not bad. but you should use red alloy wire and jacked wire to connect to the redstone tube that looks better an then redstone dust and can be placed on wall and such.
