Paris5799 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Hi I recently downloaded the TechnicLauncher and it finished downloading. But when I try to open the download it wont do anything. 0 CaiusDrake Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) I got the same problem. For me, it's because a modpack I installed said I needed 1.8 java while I was using 1.7. After I downloaded the 8u60 one from the Java site, the launcher just wouldn't pop up anymore. Nvm, just found out it was my firewall blocking it. 0 shadowclown21 Posted October 19, 2015 Share Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) I'm having the same problem. I downloaded it multiple times and updated my java. Regular Minecraft is fine. I tried running as admin and ive also tried the appdata. I even unblocked it. I don't know if my security is still blocking it though. It won't even open anymore after I updated my java. Please help. When I start te TechnicLauncher application (the application I downloaded from the site) it starts, but stops at: Downloading Launcher Asset: OpenSans+Cy...
