Technic Launcher not opening when clicked on.

Hi

I recently downloaded the TechnicLauncher and it finished downloading. But when I try to open the download it wont do anything.

I double click it and the loading symbol by the mouse comes up for a second then goes away and nothing happens.

Please help me!

you downloaded the Launcher from here http://www.technicpack.net/download correct?

what java version do you have? Don't say "newest"

I got the same problem. For me, it's because a modpack I installed said I needed 1.8 java while I was using 1.7. After I downloaded the 8u60 one from the Java site, the launcher just wouldn't pop up anymore.

Nvm, just found out it was my firewall blocking it.

Yea I downloaded it from there.

I have the latest version of Java (Java 8 Update 60). Recently downloaded it (About a week ago)

have you tried right-clicking the launcher and chose "Run as Admin"?

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded it multiple times and updated my java. Regular Minecraft is fine. I tried running as admin and ive also tried the appdata. I even unblocked it. I don't know if my security is still blocking it though. It won't even open anymore after I updated my java. Please help.

Nvm its fixed it started working again after i redownloaded java again.

I have sort of the same problem.. When I start te TechnicLauncher application (the application I downloaded from the site) it starts, but stops at: Downloading Launcher Asset: OpenSans+Cy... 

I tried downloading it again but it didn't work. The same with my java.
