NEI doesn't show up

At first, after leaving an sp server to my mp server, the NEI interface showed up, but the second time I open my inventory it disappears. I am new to Tekkit and don't remember any recipe, and looking each item up on the wiki is troublesome. Anyone know how to get NEI to show up on my inventory screen?

Nope. It just shows the EMC of the items and that's it.

Either run fullscreen, or play around with your GUI Scale (video options), and then push O a couple times to see if it appears.
