Cant connect to server

Im trying to connect to server but it gives me a big list of mods missing.

Could you provide that list? Otherwise it will be pretty hard to give you a solution.

Quit trying to connect to a 2.1 server using your 2.0 client. This is why people are asking for what version of Tekkit the server is running on, since this is exactly why this is happening to you.

I downloaded 2.1 from the tekkit 2.0/2.1 tab.

Quit trying to connect to a 2.0 server using your 2.1 client. Or convince your server op to move to 2.1. This is why people are asking for what version of Tekkit the server is running on, since this is exactly why this is happening to you.

Other way around I think, 2.0 client and 2.1 Server? Update your client to Tekkit 2.1 if that's the case.

Right, my mistake. Have Tekkit selected, then click 'options' on the launcher. Manual build selection, select 2.1.0 Latest. Now try to connect to that server.
