Random BSOD while playing

Question

Posted

Hello.

Launcher/pack Version: 2.0

Operating System: Windows 7, 64bit

Version of Java: 6, update 29

Description of Problem:

I was playing on a Tekkit server when, upon jumping up on some random hill, my computer randomly incurred a blue screen of death. Any possible cause?

I have 6GB of RAM, a 2.20 GHz quad-core processor, on Windows 7. Could it be the need for some 64-bit version of Java (which I am double checking for now)?

Error Messages: 0x00000007 was a notable part I saw.

Bump. Also, I cannot seem to get the debugging tools for Windows installed on my machine, so I cant paste the text of the BSOD dump. I've zipped it and attached it to this post. Please help! I also have reformatted the OP to fit report guidelines.

yes, it is. update your video card drivers, OP.

I have checked, and my drivers are up to date.
