cant logg in plzz help

i downloaded tekkit an tried to logg in and it says that password or username is incorrect, but when i logg in to minecraft it works.....plz someone help

Did you use your email for the username? After minecraft accounts switched to mojang accounts you must use your email to login, but if your account is remembered it will display your username instead of the email.
