Description of Problem:

Nei does not work/show up when i play even though the files are installed.

I do not know why this is happening, but it will not show up or work for anything..checked folder and files are there, not even options button is showing up

its not TMI, its NEI. There's a differnce you know

I dont know why it dosent work, no crash, but its not working

NEI not TMI! The buttons dont show up for no reason even after i press O

Its on survival Singleplayer

and creative singleplayer, im not playing on a server, im using 1.2.5

Heres the checklist to run through

1. open up mods list on main menu and check if its loaded

2. Assuming you can see the options at the bottom left of your inventory screen open that and change nei disabled to nei enabled

3. If above is all done or you cant see the options button, try reinstalling your tekkit installation and if all fails, nuke the .techniclauncher folder

having the same problem, i check on the title screen and it says that most of the mods including NEI's Metadata cant be found

I have the same problem aswell, I have checked mods, it says metabase can't be found and I deleted the .techniclauncher folder and reinstalled the launcher. By the way, there is no options button for me

Wait, I have found the solution. Try going into full-screen mode or changing your GUI to medium or small.

it is my gui! it was on auto, i c hanged it to large and that solved it.

P.S. the metadata is just the info, it dosent matter that there isn't info
