Mods Don't Work After Installing Avast Free Antivirus

Mattvid132

Question

Hi, my tekkit is kind of weird. whenever I try to load up a mod, tekkit exits to load up the mod, but the window doesn't even show up, before tekkit opens again. It used to work before, but i think it isn't working now, is because I downloaded the  Avast free antivirus program only because my Dad was worried about spyware and malware. He also went through and picked out certain programs that might harm my laptop. Avast auto-updated my java, so that might be the problem, but i don't know. I tried deleting everything and re-downloading it, restarting my laptop, and deleted my mod packs and re-downloading them...

 I don't really know what else to do, so please help! Thank you so much!

@Mattvid132

Can you get me the latest log from .technic/logs ? Open it, select all the contents and copy it to http://paste.ubuntu.com, fill in the author and hit paste, the site will reload, copy the link (address) and post it here.

delete avast, it messes a TON of stuff up.  If your dont want to get viruses, simply dont click suspicious links and stay away from internet surveys and suspicious donwloads.  The best way to do this is to finda youtube video of what you think is suspicious, then look at the comments.

k working on both of these

Looks like a problem with your graphics drivers also windows 10.. not again.

Can you try this: Windows key + R, type in dxdiag and click run. Click yes if a prompt comes up. Then, click "Save All Information". Copy the entire  contents of that file into http://paste.ubuntu.com and post the link like you did earlier. I'm interested in that card's model number.
