Launcher Cannot find path

Operating System: 64-bit Opertating System

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

Every time i try to run the launcher for windows, i receive an error message saying "cannot find path specified" followed by a huge error report under "details".

Try removing AVG and re-installing the pack. A lot of times AVG will block the download or let it download but still manage to fuck up some of the files. If that doesn't work try using the .jar version of the launcher

just tried it without AVG it still doesn't work. How does the .jar work? How do you run it rather*?

You run it the same way you would run an exe file iirc, Double click.

When i double click it, it asks me what program to use to run it. Ive tried a bunch including java but none are working

Are you on a Mac? You didn't specify in the operating system.

No, PC (dell xps 420 to be exact)
