fatpants Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 For the past few days I've been trying to get terraformers working properly on my new server but have not been having any luck. I can lay them down, connect power to them and load in TFBP's fine but they refuse to start flashing and do their job... The image below consists of 4 high voltage solar arrays, a terraformer and a flatification TFBP. any ideas? thanks
LUCer Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Flatification? You sure you want to do that on a flat area? Or you could pick the arrays up and connect them through a cable, though you still might want to use a different blueprint.
disconsented Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Arn't they meant to be connection directly to an MFSU?
gavjenks Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Arn't they meant to be connection directly to an MFSU? No, on my server I hooked up one at spawn to a single 1 EU/tick solar panel and it terraformed just fine over the course of several real life days. @OP, I'm not sure why on earth you would expect a flatification terraformer to do anything whatsoever on a perfectly flat brick patio...
fatpants Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 @OP, I'm not sure why on earth you would expect a flatification terraformer to do anything whatsoever on a perfectly flat brick patio... Have you even used a terraformer before? It's being used as an example and if it were working properly it'd be easy to see... The problem is that it won't start flashing and function properly, it doesn't matter what TFBP I place in it or whether it has a fully charged MFSU connected, it just won't work.
gavjenks Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Maybe if you actually bothered to read both sentences of two sentence threads before quoting them, and maybe if you weren't so obnoxious to people trying to help you, your problems would be solved a lot sooner. I had a couple ideas I might have tested for you, but forget that.
fatpants Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 I was perfectly polite until you enter asking 'why on earth' I went about doing something the way I did which was just downright rude.
