Describe "not working", ie, when you hit it with flint does it come to life... etc. Also maybe posting what plugins you have etc. My guess would be you have a plugin installed that blocks flint from working, so it can't light the portal, but without a lot more information it's impossible to tell Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just stand there in the portal while my screen is swirling purple. I've set up a temporary fix where I create a worldportal sign for ech person who has a Nether portal that takes the place of each person's nether portal. However, this won't be sufficient for long. Anybody have any other suggestions? The nether worked when I was running the server via Hamachi, but now that I pay for dedicated hosting it doesn't work. What went wrong? Well that was working, until the signs started no longer taking us to the nether, but rather to some newly generated world. I checked the server files, and the real nether is still there.
