Wrench confusion

i crafted a wrench using 6 bronze ingots, and when i used it on my macerator, it turned it into a machine block, am i using the wrong wrench, or is it just a bug?

Did you left-click or right-click the macerator?

It's not a bug, the basic wrench has a chance of breaking the machine rather than picking it up. If you want to prevent that use electrical wrench and its lossless mode (hold "M" + right click)

thanks wixo for the help it didnt break the furnace though, and i easily crafted a new macerator, as well as a few other treats for myself

like a jetpack, a diamond farm, and i cut down half a forest biome (turns out logs are great for condensing into diamonds)
