efflandt Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Skin servers have been sort of sporadic lately due to the popularity of the game. If you did everything right, you might or might not see your uploaded skin, depending upon how busy the servers are.
tacoriffic926 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 skin server was hosted on a amazon server but now they are hosted on minecraft.net server. So the minecraft.net server must be not be able to handle the every day load of every thing so it is slower to update but this might help it was http://s3.amazonaws..../PlayerName.png but now it is http://skins.minecra.../PlayerName.png
