Ataarr Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Okay, so I made a pretty simple design with a condenser creating lava buckets connected to a geothermal generator. the piping seems fine, lava buckets go into the generator, but they don't come out. How do I fix this ? Quote
Torezu Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 You have to pull them back out the bottom. A retriever setup might work. You're better off just condensing lava cells, though, as those disappear when used. Quote
Michael101 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 If you're on technic you can use logistics pipes for this kind of setup. Quote

Torezu Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 What do you mean might, of course it works. Sorry, I should have been more specific. It might work if you know what you're doing. I've run into issues with retrievers, probably because I don't know what I'm doing, so I tend to come up with creative filter arrangements, and avoid situations where things like Retrievers and Regulators are necessary. I just tried that and it's a lot easier than cycling buckets back to the condenser. Plus my four geothermal setup is so compact, with the logistic piping underneath and the fibre cables above the generators. Quote
Korialstrasz Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 well you could also use advanced wooden pipes set to emtpy buckets Quote
stringburka Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 well you could also use advanced wooden pipes set to emtpy buckets If you're using BC stuff there's really no reason to use buckets for lava anyway. Just use tanks. You can get very efficient setups with that. Quote
