Mods button greyed out

Question

Posted

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Mac OS 10.7.4

Java Version: Not sure, the java that comes with macs

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

I tried this:

The mod select button doesn't work.

Your computer might not have any program designated to open config files. Go to your .techniclauncher and find

the "Config" folder in any of the mod folders you have already installed. (They will be empty if you haven't yet.)

Right click a file ending in .cfg, select "open with..." and set Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac) as the default

program that opens it. Your mod select button should now work as long as you have a pack selected in the drop

down.

It didn't work. The button is still greyed out.

Without this, I can't disable InvTweaks and without that disabled, *I can not play tekkit at all*

This is a deal-breaker for me. Please help.

Thanks.

I know its a bit late but the mod select button does not work because of a small bug with forge. If you need to remove a mod you need to manually remove it from the .techniclauncher folder (or the modpack.jar which can be a pain)

wow... i had the same problem, the solution is the first thing you did when modding minecraft

delete META-INF or meta infinite

... No that is not the same problem at all... This guy is saying that the little button on the Launcher that used to allow you to toggle mods on and off is disabled. (Its because we don't use Modloader) META-INF causes whitescreens, nothing to do with the launcher.
