Problem with metadata?

can anyone tell me what "metadata not found" means, and how to fix it to where my mods work on tekkit. thank you

It means that the modmakers didn't provide a description. Makes no differences whatsoever.

but my mods, like the electric circuit doesn't work. i can't build it, even though i have all the parts

Clear the cache. You also may be crafting it wrong.
