Help the newbie!

I know I am using the correct recipe but I can't craft TNT. Everything else works, all mods running perfectly. I have no plug-ins and am the god of my server. TNT just won't appear in the output slot. What's going on?

You're not using the correct recipe.

It requires 5 gunpowder and 4 sand, not the other way around. Unless you're trying to make something like ITNT or a Nuke, in which case it might be disabled in the config. But seriously, if you did mess up the recipe, this is why you look at the wiki or something like that before coming here.

It's also possible that you're playing on a server, and explosives are banned.
