Tekkit wont work online,why?

I set up a tekkit server and i want to play with my friends via hamachi.However,when they add the server to favorites they get an error like this :Unable to reach server.When i turn off my firewall they can connect but their name is not showing.Do you know what could the firewall block so they cant connect to me?

You should never disable your firewall, that's like asking hackers to hack your own computer

You can however, tell your firewall to not block Java and it should work just fine

put up firewall and check if its blocking java..... and why in gods name did you put it down !
