Kueeny Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 When the new update comes in I would like to transfer a town to a new generated world? How do I save that piece of land but not the whole (older) world?
gavjenks Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Pretty sure this is impossible, at least if you use any weird things like RP miniblocks, etc. There are no plugins I am aware of capable of transfering miniblocks, or RP logic states, or CC programs, etc. etc. I have attempted to contact Eloraam (Rp programmer) about a way to copy and paste miniblocks more than once, but she has no good contact methods, really. The basic structure, with a lot of damage, however, would be transferrable by any number of plugins. Voxelsniper, worldedit, MCEdit, etc.
mochadog123 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Just make a new map, use that one, and still have the old map do you can copy and paste with world edit.
Kueeny Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 Will the copy stay on your clipboard when you exit the game and switch to your new world?
Jay? Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I believe you need to save the structures as schematics or something like that. Be aware that if it's a major version change, and block IDs change, that method won't work without some finagling.
