Launcher won't load, "TechnicLauncher.exe - Entry Point Not Found"

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.0

Operating System: Dell XPS M1210 with Windows XP

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

Whenever I try to load the TechnicLauncher I get an error message that says, "The procedure entry point GetRequestedRuntimeInfo could not be located in the dynamic link library mscoree.dll." When I click the OK button or close the window, I get another error message that says, "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded" after closing this window nothing else happens.

Yeah, I figured since this wasn't a problem with the launcher I was just wasting people's time. However, there are some important details still not mentioned.

When uninstalling Microsoft.NET, you must uninstall every instance of it. I had 4, so you might have a few.

If you get a message that says you can't uninstall one of the instances because another program depends on it, uninstall the other instances first. This should fix the problem.
