Technic Launcher Has Stopped Working

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: Version 7 Update 4

Antivirus Program: Norton AntiVirus

Description of Problem:

I just downloaded the Technic Launcher 7.2 off the website, i click it, its asks if i want to run it, i click yes, and it says "Technic launcher updater has stopped working " I re-downloaded the launcher multiple times, and it still refuses to work. i have the latest version of java which i downloaded a short while ago because someone said that would work, and it still refuses to work. I turned off my firewall, turned off my anti virus, and restarted my computer, still nothing.

There are multiple posts about this problem, and not one of them have solutions.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this is a multipost or not, but (http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technic-launcher-has-stopped-working.26765/#post-212920) is the same problem posted by you. If a mod sees this you may get in trouble for multi posting. It's kind of against the rules.

Most likely it is Norton blocking the program from running , try disabling it and see if works.

You might also try using the .jar launcher and see if that makes any difference.
