Rail Mods maybee

I was messing around with rail-craft and some others but out of them all i found most frustrating is getting mobs on the track. Is there a mod of some sort out there that will push the mob out of the way and not the other way around? How do you deal with mobs on the track?

Something like a cattle guard? That would be a pretty useful thing actually.

um, torches? just keep it lit and enclosed.

If you want to be expensive, use EE interdiction torches.

As far as I know it doesn't exist, but that would be the basic idea.

I use torches and fences but i was kinda hoping to not have to not out of laziness (not much any way) but to me that just clutters up the area.

just put halfslabs a block and a half (head height when in the cart) on the track, it prevents mobs from walking onto the track and also won't suffocate you since half slabs are a tranparent block like stairs.

I'm not sure, but does placing a turret cart from Steve''s Carts work? So whenever it detects a creature it attacks it?

Otherwise, just try to place a Turret from Turrets in one of the carts in your train.
