Description of Problem:

When I open the pack, it will open like all is well with the world. I can play yogbox, voxelbox, hack/mine, and technic. The tekkit will say "looking for update" and stay on a blank page that says "tekkit" I am operating on a Mac.

I do not know if my technic (which i downloaded yesterday XD) is out of date, or my Java. I set preferred Java to version 6 and turned 5 off.

If you are using Apple Java 6 it is up to date AFAIK

I have tried Re downloading and installing the launcher and no such luck. Should i re install java? Just a bug in tekkit or my computer?

What is with the broken pic? If it is the error you need to host in on Imger or the like. I doubt reinstalling Java would do anything but it can't hurt.

Update: the launcher my computer and java are all up to date. Tekkit is still the only pack that won't work. My brother has a windows computer and it works for him. When i try to play the Technic Pack it says the same thing but takes like 30 seconds with a white screen. Im going to try and have the white screen open for a while to see if that will work even though i tried for 2 hours before.
