How do I remove MAtmos from my Tekkit completely?

I am having a problem where Tekkit slows down to roughly 0 fps after 5 mins or so of playing. I have tried many solutions (for 2 days now). Someone has suggested MAtmos my be causing the problems, so I'd like to try removing it.

if on windows you can just open windows explorer and navigate to

%appdata%\.techniclauncher\tekkit\mods

find a zip folder named MAtmos_packaged.zip and move or delete it

I think there's also a hotkey to disable matmos ingame like F7 or something if you havent tried that
