hdf76 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) I've made a few modpacks before and have them download correctly. However with my new modpack I do not know what I am doing wrong. It does tell me that it won't download and that I need to consult the modpack author. Here is the download link that I use in my modpack: https://www.dropbox.com/s/87e9e3lc8xlozps/Tekkit-HD1.1.zip?dl=1 Yes it is in my public folder and I have had my dropbox account since 2011 and my other modpacks still do download from this folder. If anyone has some insight or can help me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Edit: Modpack name: Tekkit HD Edited December 24, 2015 by hdf76
jumpandshootbeef Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 What exactly is going wrong? Did waiting a while until technicpack updated help?
hdf76 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Error downloading the modpack "Tekkit HD". Please consult the modpack author. I have gone over the issue several times to see if I did anything wrong, but I haven't found it.
jumpandshootbeef Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 hmm you can try to change the file name to all lower cases and tell me your map layout. It must be a head folder with 3 folders in it:-bin Must contain the modpack.jar (forge<version>.jar renamed)-config-mods Kinda obvious
hdf76 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 If you look at all the files in the zip, they are all there. I didn't show all of the files in this image, but just to show you that I do have those folders and the forge version renamed. All are in corresponding order to the top list. Thing is I even have a server running perfectly with this modpack. I have even used these files to play on it and have no issues at all.
hdf76 Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 Apparently it magically fixed itself. I didn't touch my modpack for 5 days and went on vacation. Now it works again. Wow. Thank you for your help anyway.
