Can't go to servers

Java Version: I reinstalled at 8th september 2012

Antivirus Program: Norman

Description of Problem:

after 15 seconds on a server everything freezes and says java.net.expection.socket run out or something

Error Messages:

No white screen no error log just normal dirt background that says: internal exception: java.net.socketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error.

This sounds like a bug for the Tekkit section but I can't really tell. Do you get past the Launcher screen and into the Main Menu of Minecraft?

Yes he did, that error message comes up when you can't connect to a server or get disconnected.

iam getting the same thing (Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abourt: recv failed) is how it reads exactly.
