I try to join a server in Tekkit, and it crashes

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Mac OSX 10.6.5

Java Version: Java Version 1.6.0_22 from Apple Inc.

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

I have been using the technic launcher for months and it has never encountered this problem before, but when I tried to join my server after disconnecting, it said:

Connecting to server....Logging in, then all text and boxes disappeared for a number of seconds, then reappeared before giving me less than a second of a crash report and white screening. I have deleted my techniclauncher folder twice and nothing has changed.

Delete your tekkit folder (User HD -> Library -> Application Support -> techniclauncher).

Also, try updating to java 7 (I have no idea how to do so on a mac (bleh, mac sucks))

Doesn't deleting my techniclauncher folder also delete my tekkit one?

And I will try to update java, but am on school computer and probably won't have sufficient perms.

Don't try to download this to a school computer. There is your problem and solution.

Also, this isn't a launcher bug. You are beyond the Mojang screen if you are trying to join a server.

Do your schoolwork.
