tekkit doesent have the correct mods

Operating System: windows home premium 64-bit

Java Version: java 7

Antivirus Program: avast

Description of Problem:

when i finaly got the technic laucher to work went on tekkit and it says that it had all downloaded but when i got to the home screen it says there were only 3 mods loaded and i went on to single player and no tekkit items were there! and i tryd to load up technic and it crashed at the mojang screen plzz help (sorry if this is on the wrong section)

He is having an issue with downloading the pack. That means this is the right section. Tsk, tsk...

OP: Try redownloading (with your antivirus and firewalls off) and see if that helps.

That tells me he got it to work. Or he doesn't fully understand the problem that he is having and is using words wrong.

Just because the launcher "works" doesn't mean it's not a launcher problem. The launcher can fail to download nearly every mod because it's being blocked by something, but it'll still run.

What version of java are you using? (is it java 7 update 7? What bit version is it?) what version of windows are you using? (Is it windows 7, windows xp?)

ok i fixed my problem just simply download a already built .technic folder and your ready to go
