Tekkit Launcher can't open!

Description of Problem:

I recently had a virus on my computer, so I installed a new version of windows and now it is gone. But now the Technic Launcher won't even open! Windows then tries to look for the problem but I know it can't find it... please help!

Do the default fixes; update your Java, reinstall the launcher, reinstall Tekkit (remember to backup your saves!) and report back. Also, which version of Java do you have, 32 or 64 bit? Also which version of Windows do you have, 32 or 64 bit? Mismatched Java and Windows cause problems.
